A Postdoctoral fellow position is now open for the Protein Crystallography Small Research Facility (PX-SRF), under the supervision of Professor Frank von Delft. The successful candidate will support all PX-SRF related activities, with the predominant focus on the projects in the ASAP pipeline. ASAP builds on the our previous experience with COVID Moonshot. Your role in the SRF is to drive crystallography projects to obtain robust crystal systems ready for fragment screening, and the development of biochemical and/or biophysical assays for the characterization of protein ligand complexes of said targets. In addition, they provide support to the wider CMD crystallography community and are involved in training and hosting students and academic visitors. As part of the von Delft group you will work closely with their XChem team, based at Diamond Light source at Harwell campus, and you will have the opportunity to get involved in fragment screening and XChem pipeline methodology development.
