We have an immediate opening for a postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Prof. Eddy Arnold and Dr. Francesc Xavier Ruiz at Rutgers University (NJ, USA). The successful candidate will work on an NIH-funded project focused on the discovery and mechanistic characterization of nucleotide-competing inhibitors of HIV-1 and LINE-1 reverse transcriptases. The project will combine protein biochemistry, X-ray crystallography, crystallographic fragment screening, and structure-guided drug discovery to investigate novel mechanisms of reverse transcriptase inhibition.
